Forgotten Cookies

Today I give you all the absolute best cookie recipe in the whole wide world.

They are like a wonderful hard marshmallow with chocolate chips and they taste like heaven. Growing up mom would make them in the evening then shut the oven off and we would eat them in the morning for breakfast, which made them even more magical and delicious! 


I made ours before lunch with this cute little helper.


When you put them in the oven they are gooey shiny blobs....just trust it, the outcome will be delicious! 


Now since I made them during the day, I let them "cook" in the oven for about 2 hours until the oven was cool. 


And if you time it just right they will be ready to eat while the babies are napping and the big kids are reading in their rooms and you will be able to enjoy a few before you have to share.  


This was the first time I have made them for the kiddos and they were a hit with everyone! Including this little miss! 




Now they won't last long so make sure when you make them you keep a couple back so that as soon as you put kiddos down to bed you can grab your blanket, and your dog and sit by the Christmas tree and eat this heavenly treat while you watch Real Housewives of New York.
