Christmas Cookies

December 23, 2017

Just in case you still have some holiday baking to do I found a couple recipes on Pinterest that turned out pretty good so I thought I would share!

First up Sugar Cookies.

I have attempted many a sugar cookies and they always turn out horrible. But I was thrilled when this sugar cookies recipe actually kept it's shape and tasted good!

And if you need a good icing recipe this Best tasting sugar cookie icing is hard to beat!

And finally I found a recipe for Funfetti Shortbread Bites that looked like they would be fun to try. I ran out of nonpareil sprinkles so I just used sugar sprinkles but I think these would be so fun to make for birthdays or Halloween, or any other holiday and just change up the sprinkles!

After you get it mixed you put it in a 9x13 and stick it in the fridge for a bit.

Then cut them into tiny squares,

and bake them.

And while they are baking you can grab some cute kiddos to decorate some cookies for Santa.

And make sure you use up all the frosting. 😉

Now we have a few treats to get us started for the holidays.

And I'm warning you now, these shortbread bites (or tea party cookies as Miss Jacey has decided to name them) are super good and super addictive!
